At the dawn of the new millennium, three small organic dairy farmers from west central Wisconsin pooled their milk together and decided there must be a better way to bring quality organic dairy products/ingredients from their farms to the consumer and processor looking for a consistent, quality organic dairy source. That source is Organic Choice dba Next Generation Organic Dairy. These farmers knew the extra education, effort, energy and expense they have invested into their farms to produce a higher standard in organics was not being understood in the homes of consumers or even purchasing offices. An educated and economical choice for the consumer and the next generation became their mantra. This idea spread, and in February of 2001, Organic Choice/Next Generation Organic Dairy was born. The focus of Next Generation Organic Dairy is not just to produce another line of organic dairy products, but rather to provide high quality, nutritious products that taste good and are processed to retain more of their natural goodness, wholesomeness and are affordable. In addition we want the consumer to have the ability to learn the differences in farm management styles and processing methods. Food sourcing is a growing interest. More and more consumers wants to know where thief food has come from, how it was produced and why was it processed in a given way. Our dairy products and company are committed to giving you this knowledge base.

The certified organic dairy farmers and their families of Next Generation know and understand this and have a sincere desire to produce dairy products that are of highest quality and integrity. The farmers of Next Generation are small family farmers located in the heart of the Midwest, mainly in Wisconsin, Americas Dairyland. This milk is the real deal! Not more than 100 cows per farm family, however most farms average 50 or less cows, making them true family farms. They pay close attention to the USDA organic standards which include grazing, the humane treatment of their cattle and organic cattle replacement policies which do not allow cloned cattle or their offspring. Artificial hormones of any kind are never used. In addition, the farmers of Next Generation nurture and balance their soils, using only organically approved soil amendments, which allow crops to grow naturally the way nature intended, providing better nutrition for their cows and less environmental degradation. No chemical herbicides, pesticides or Genetically Modified Organisms, GMOs are used in their organic production either. Our farmers believe in leaving this world a better place then when they found it.

In todays fast paces world, many foods are processed for extended shelf life, rendering them lifeless and of little nutritional value.
